Memorial Day Weekend

Took off on the XS scoot to L-Ville Sunday afternoon after waking up at noon from the night before. Nice backroad three hour tour each way. Bike ran great. Caught tail end of Beatersville Car show and snapped a few of the the couple bikes and cars I liked. Hope you like. Sorry about crappy pics: Its a cell fone!

Gasser Wagon, nice wheels.

Perfect.

I really like these two T's Esp the blue one. I like these nice finished period style rods more than most all rats. A good rat is great, but too often its an excuse to not finish your car!

 Clean Scoot

Woke up this morning and went to the Flea Mkt at the fairgrounds with some old friends.
Found some cool junk.  $30 Well spent

Russ's 1930 Tudor

This is my buddy Russ's Tudor. I friggin love it. I think he did a real nice job keeping this car looking like it came out of the field. He's an avid fisher, thus the shifter. He also pounded out the seat backs to match the tractor seat bottoms. Fuckin Killer.

Panhead

Here's the latest mockup of the Panhead. I didn't have the spring fork rods at the time and the sissybar is a little too far kicked back, but its starting to take shape.

Land of the Rising Sun

Made this seat for my buddy's CB750 over the last couple days.

April is Filing Time!

Well if you are like me, you tell the IRS to go fuck themselves.

But that doesn't mean you don't have to file.

This is how you turn the neck of your orig BT frame into a pile of shavings.

Step 1: drill a bunch of holes around the perimeter.
Step 2: knock out whats left with a hammer and punch.
Step 3: Spend four hours straight with a file and Voila! A nicely shaped orifice appears!

This is what you end up with: a pile of shavings that from 64 year old metal. Great for many uses, like making you sneeze for two days because you weren't about to wear your respirator for four hours, right?
If you're really hard core, you grab a piece of steel oil line and toot a line of the old Harley's skeletal structure just to say you did it.

Springer Gold

Alright, this is how you turn junk into good shit. This Offset springer showed up on my doorstep two days ago out of the blue! Ok I bought in on ebay, but nonetheless, I was stoked to see the package out front. So as you can see from the before photos, it needed a little help. So I performed some surgery, massaged it a little, and transplanted some new sleeves with a little artistic flair.

As you can see, turned out pretty good, i'm stoked. Just waiting on the front leg to show up and we will be rollin! (or maybe Springin!)
